Allen King
Managing Director
Allen first started protecting print in 1982 when he started laminating photographers’ portfolios. Over the years the industry has changed a lot but his stewardship has kept Express on a steady course to become the largest trade print encapsulating company in the UK.
Lee Harding
Production Manager
Lee joined Express in 2007 and is the powerhouse of the Express production facility. Lee’s technical expertise and keen eye maintains Express’s exemplary level of quality and ensures customer deadlines are met, even in the most challenging conditions.
David Branton
Sales Manager
David joined the company in 1999 and brought with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. David’s personable character and hands-on approach has led Express’s workforce over the years and ensured that all of Express’s customers feel in safe hands.
Chloë McGuire
Head of Finance
Chloë joined in 2020 and quickly became invaluable to the company by delivering exceptional value in our finance and customer service departments. Chloë ensures the business is kept running smoothly at all times.

Encapsulation in 24 hours
Speed of turnaround means everything to our customers. Our production unit is designed to handle large and multiple encapsulation jobs quickly. Most jobs under 10,000 A4 sheets or equivalent that don’t have additional finishing are completed within just 24 hours. Please book in via sales@expressencap.co.uk 3 days prior to reserve your production slot.
Laminating film in 48 hours
We promise to dispatch your roll film within 48 hours of receiving your order2. Where an item is not in stock we will work with our suppliers to deliver your film as soon as possible. Order must be received by 1pm.
1 hour quotes
Get an encapsulation quote in 1 hour. Simply submit your quote request via our quote form and we will quote you within 1 hour. Excludes complex finishing3.
Price match
We will match any like-for-like quote if you supply us with the quotation estimate4.
Free delivery
Spend over £400 on film or encapsulation and we’ll deliver it for free5.
Free collection
Spend over £1,000 on encapsulation and we’ll cover your courier costs. Email your courier invoice to sales@expressencap.co.uk along with your cost estimate number and we will reimburse your total courier costs up to the value of £505.
Samples
We’d be delighted to prepare a finished sample of your print so you can easily get sign-off. We can print and encapsulate or just encapsulate your print (charges apply). We also offer a free encapsulation sample pack that contains all weights and finishes of our encapsulating film. To request either sample, please visit our samples page.
Order updates
We’ll keep you informed at every stage of your encapsulation job with automatic emails sent from our production department. You will receive a maximum of 3 email notifications sent to the email address confirmed during the quote stage. The three stages are ‘Stage 1. Job Received’, ‘Stage 2. Job In Production’ and ‘Stage 3. Job Completed’. Your email address will never be used for marketing purposes or passed to any third party. Please ensure production@expressencap.co.uk is whitelisted in your email browser to avoid updates being sent to your spam folder.
Quality control
We pride ourselves on outstanding quality control. Your job will be assigned to a production technician who will personally complete the encapsulation work and quality check it before carefully packaging it for dispatch. Will we show you who approved the work and when with a personally signed quality control sticker. This ensures that your print is personally cared for from the moment it arrives in our production facility to the moment it leaves.
Free returns
We offer free returns on all products. If your order is unsuitable for whatever reason you can send it back free of charge. Please complete the returns form and we’ll send you a returns label. Please be aware that any return must meet our Returns Policy criteria.
White label delivery
If instructed we will use plain packaging when dispatching your goods with no branding or reference to Express Encapsulation. We can also include your delivery note if you email it to us.
1 The majority of jobs under 5,000 A4 sheets (or equivalent) are completed within 24 hours of receiving your printed sheets at our warehouse.
